Moonlight like bliss,
Darkness out the covers,
Midnight in full remiss,
The starry sky hovers.
Our eyes drawn upwards,
Pupils illuminated with light,
Attention full forward,
To the white and black sight.
Removed to an empty portal,
All we can do is gaze,
At those stars immortal,
Stuck in a space far a ways.
Yet they always gleam,
Into our mortal sphere,
As if a twilight mixed dream,
En-wrapping us to a new frontier.
Giving clarity where it does not lie,
And a sense of wonder that never dies.
